The strap has a snap so you can snap it onto your belt and it is large enough to hold sock yarn and or about a
50 gram ball of yarn, it measures around 7" long and 16" in a circle. You can walk around and knit, you
can put it on your wrist and knit or even in your knitting bag. It makes a terrific sock bag. The fabric is that
shiny material and it comes in Hot Pick (which is shown), lime Green, Burgundy, and turquoise.
